SURVEYOR / PARTY CHIEF

eTrac, Inc. is seeking a versatile and motivated Surveyor to join our Alaska team based in Wasilla. The full-time/year-round position will involve hydrographic and land surveys throughout Alaska, Hawaii, and the lower 48. Our hydrographic surveyors perform a range of tasks in both field and office.

Field Tasks will include:
• Multibeam and Singlebeam Hydrographic Surveys
• GNSS Topographic Surveys
• GNSS & Optical Horizontal & Vertical Control Surveys
• Differential Leveling
• Terrestrial LiDAR Surveys
• Survey Vessel Mobilization
• Survey Vessel Operation
• Water Level Monitoring

Office Tasks will include:
• Multibeam and Singlebeam Data Processing
• GNSS Kinematic Post Processing
• Point Cloud Sanitizing
• GNSS Static Control Network Processing and Adjustment
• AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Digital & Optical Leveling Processing and Adjustment
• Mobile & Static Terrestrial LiDAR Survey Processing
• Report Writing

eTrac Inc. performs surveys for private and public agencies throughout the United States with offices in California, Washington, and Alaska. Candidates should expect approximately 100 days of travel throughout each year.

Candidates with field experience in Alaska and familiarity with small vessels and coastal waterways are preferred.

BOAT OPERATOR

eTrac, Inc. is seeking an experienced and versatile Boat Operator to join our California team based in San Rafael. This position may be offered as either a full-time seasonal or year-round position depending on the candidate and will involve hydrographic surveys for private and public agencies throughout the United States.  eTrac Inc. currently has offices in California, Washington, and Alaska. Candidates should expect approximately 100 days of travel throughout each year.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of five (5) years of field experience and familiarity with small vessels and coastal waterways.  USCG Captain’s License preferred, but not required.

 

Tasks will include:
• Survey Vessel Mobilization
• Survey Vessel Operation for Multibeam and Singlebeam Hydrographic Surveys
• Vessel Maintenance and Recordkeeping
• Asset Tracking
• Project Planning and Logistics
• Survey Assistance, as required
